Exciting changes are coming to a corner that has been blighted for many years. The City Council approved at last night’s meeting to allow for a 5,238 square foot market, called Tower Market, to begin construction at the northwest corner of Date Palm Drive and Ortega Road. This corner has seen many years of blight and boarded homes.
Tower Market is a hybrid between convenience store and fresh market. They sell many grocery items, fresh vegetables, as well as quick food for takeout like sandwiches and pizzas. They also sell everything you can find at a traditional convenience store. Additionally, the new market will have 24 parking space and 12 gas pumps for easy convenience.
