Trick or Treat, Meet Your Fire and Police, and Win a Bicycle with a Cool Seat at Cathedral City’s Spooktacular on Halloween
The City of Cathedral City and Perez Road Business Association are partnering on the inaugural Cathedral City Spooktacular Halloween Event scheduled to take place on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 1-5 pm. The event will occur on Perez Road between Summit Drive and Plaza Drive. Spooktacular will include a stage with live entertainment, car displays, and exhibits sponsored by the Cathedral City Police Department and Cathedral City Fire Department.
Families are encouraged to come to this fun, interactive event where children can trick or treat in a safe environment. More than 20 vendors will be offering free candy including the City of Cathedral City, Target, Boomers, and many family resource organizations. Guests will also be treated to a hotdog BBQ courtesy of Wienerschnitzel. Children will even get a limited number of free trick or treat bags so that they can go home and celebrate with their family in their own neighborhoods as well.
In addition to games and trick or treating, families can interact with fire trucks, police vehicles, police motorcycle patrols, and the men and women who serve in those departments. This creates an opportunity for residents to connect with public safety officials to build safe communities in Cathedral City.
The event will also feature hourly costume contest. The City has donated several bicycles to be raffled during the festivities. It will be a Spooktacular time!
