As most of us are staying home during the pandemic, we may have not noticed the major projects that are still moving forward in Cathedral City. In this video, Mayor John Aguilar interviews Agua Caliente – Cathedral City’s General Manager Michael Facenda who provides an update on the status of construction, what the casino will offer as far as entertainment, and an amazing chef who is new to the Coachella Valley and will be in charge of the facility’s food and beverage options. Everyone will want to hear about their 12,000 square feet outdoor pavilion coming to offer entertainment outdoors and when it plans to open to the public.
Councilmember Rita Lamb interviews College of the Desert Board Chair Fred Jandt and Superintendent / President Joel Kinnamon about the new Roadrunner Motors coming to the Cathedral City Auto Center. The new facility to be located behind Volkswagen and the new Shottenkirk Desert Lexus will train students about auto mechanics, hydrogen fuel cells, global positioning systems, and many other transportation based technology. Be sure to watch the video to learn when this facility will be ready to open and the high paying positions waiting for the graduates once they complete their degrees.
